English and Placement Training

This training program consists the following:

Soft Skill Development

Personality is the sum total of individual’s Psychological traits, characteristics, motives, habits, attitudes, beliefs and outlooks. CELTA.. helps students to develop positive personality by enhancing their confident level, positive attitude, self esteem, leadership Qualities.

Accent Development

As we don’t have lots of sounds in Tamil as in English, we speak English with mother tongue influence. Because of this problem, when we communicate with the north Indian people or people from English speaking countries, we find it more difficult to make them understand. To overcome this problem, in this session, students are trained to pronounce all important sounds in class room and using language lab.

Listening Skill Development

For any language, the two things listening and understanding are the most important parts. But most of the people lack in listening and due to this, they get stammered to understand others speech, instructions from seniors in work places. Especially in interviews, they find it more difficult to follow the interviewer, and due to this they become more nervous and lose the chance of winning. Here, students are directed to listen to some conversations and speeches of celebrities using language lab and to answer the questions asked at the end of the conversation.

Group Discussion

Nowadays Group Discussion is being extensively used along with personal interviews for the final selection of candidates. It plays a main role in selecting the best among the best. Having scored high marks, students who get selected for a higher/another course or employment are placed on a par - on equal footing - based on their age, qualification and experience. It becomes necessary to conduct further screening for choosing a few among many. It is here, the Group Discussion plays an important part. It helps in choosing the socially suitable candidate among the academically superior achievers. It is one of the best tools to study the behavioral and attitudinal responses of the participants. In fact it is one of the most important and popular techniques being used in a number of personality tests.

Extempore Speech

Extempore speech is nothing but candidates will be given a topic on the spot and they should speak in a limited time. As there is a time limit, candidates should take care of their speech. Now a days, in this corporate world, as companies don’t have time to interview everyone individually, they use the extempore speech as a technique to screen candidates in short period. To get through this round, we give students lots of class room practice and conduct mock interviews.

Individual Conversations

English is the medium of business communication in today’s world. Hence it is a vital tool and strength to possess when appearing for interviews. As there is no regular practice, students get stammered during interviews. To eradicate such a problem, students are given topics on the spot and asked to make conversations in every class. So that , this practice will give students the courage to participate in discussions and to answer interview questions in a clear and intelligent manner.

Placement Training

Objective of this training is to mould the students to meet the corporate expectation and place them in reputed companies based on the expected Job profiles of each student. Here, we train students through mock interviews and provide tips on preparing for interviews. Interviews are considered to be the gateway to the corporate world. To get a opening and to be a hard nosed professional, one should develop the soft skills. Soft Skills are behavioral competencies. Also known as Interpersonal Skills, or people skills, they include proficiencies such as communication skills, conflict resolution and negotiation, personal effectiveness, creative problem solving, strategic thinking, team building, influencing skills and selling skills, to name a few. As good soft skills -- which are in fact scarce -- in the highly competitive corporate world will help the students stand out in a milieu of routine job seekers with mediocre skills and talent, we give more importance to develop it.

Students those who are slow learners in English and Computer courses will have the special attention of their faculties during and after class hours on the area of concern. This helps the slow learners to pick up and move ahead with their classmates. Even after the completion of course, students can regularly come and practice till they become confident. The students are at ease and are free to approach the Head of the Institute with any problem that they encounter during their course.
